2008 Hafla--It’s time!!!!
It's time to start gearing up for the 2008 Kaleidoscope Hafla!
When? Sat. Sept 27, 2008. We'll start around 7pm and go for 2 hours or so with an after-party to follow
Where? Renaissance Theatre in Downtown Lynchburg
What? Lynchburg's 2nd Annual Hafla with dancers from across the state, live drummers, and whatever else we can pack in!
This year, come to town early for workshops with Mandara www.mandaradance.com/ and an Intro to Mendhi (henna) with local artists
Registration packets will be available after June 1st. Hafla performance time preference will be given (but not restricted) to workshop participants.
Drop us a line if you and/or your troupe is interested in joining us.
2007 attendance was unbelievable with over 250 folks, and many more turned away at the door. We received media attention from area newspapers, radio, and TV media.
