Position Title: Employee Health and Wellness Coordinator. RN

Job Description: Employee Health and Wellness Coordinator RN, Combine Your Nursing Education With Your Passion For Fitness. The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority RBHA is seeking one qualified individual to promote the health and wellness of its employees and maintain regulatory compliance related to tuberculosis testing and pre-employment drug screening. Additionally, this position is responsible for designing and implementing employee wellness initiatives that are congruent with best practices and effectively communicate the agency's commitment to improving the overall health of its employees. The coordinator also performs surveillance for detection and prevention of infections occurring in the facility through investigation, consultation and education of personnel and consumers. The coordinator also partners with health and dental insurance providers in addressing employee health and wellness initiatives. Serves on various committees as assigned and assists in the delivery of exceptional customer service as a member of the human resources team. Ensures that the gym equipment is adequate to meet needs and is kept in proper repair. Must be capable of personally leading exercise classes with groups and providing individual training as requested. Successful applicant must be a registered nurse from an accredited school of nursing, posses a current license from the Virginia Board of Nurses with experience in employee health and wellness theories, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements. The preferred candidate will possess a certification as a CPR instructor and as a personal trainer. This position typically works m-f 8:00am -5:00pm.

Starting Salary Range: $46,685.60 - $63,025.04
