TW-1066 Technical Writer - Contract - Reston, VA (Local candidates only)
Bill rate: BOE
A clients needs a technical writer with basic illustration skills (to create one or two illustrations) to document a user manual for one of their products.
They are ready to start on the first project immediately and if all goes well the others would follow.
There is an existing user manual (although not adequate) to go by and the client estimates this project should take 2-3 weeks, but you will need to verify that estimate when starting.
Requirements:
o. 3+ years experience documenting hardware/software user manuals (Required)
o. Experience with Adobe Illustrator is preferred
Notes:
o. Once all the necessary information is compiled, the final documentation and editing can be done from a home office.
o. We must have a bill rate to submit you (1099 or c-to-c)
o. US citizens, Green Card Holders and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
