Cinema Cafe must be a First Coast phenomenon because, I'd never heard of it in Seattle. When a very good lawyer friend of mine nearly insisted that I check it out, I thought, "Sure." I was pleasantly surprised. First, the menu had an interesting retro feel to it. All the menu items had a classic movie theme, like "The Italian Job Lasagna" or "The Strawberry Fields Sunday". Second, you can eat while you watch the movie! Third, it was very inexpensive. Just recently the Cinema Cafe changed to the Cinema Cafe Art to try and cater to the new clientele that have entered the area. This includes hiring a fairly up and coming chef as well as hosting wine tastings on Thursdays. Usually, I'm opposed to changes being made ot my favorite places, but I'm pretty happy with this new change.
