regarding your comment about US test scores. I believe the makers of zeitgeist are referring to the public schools run by the federal Dept. of Education which is terribly inept and corrupted. I attended one the "highest ranked" public high schools in my state and constantly got the sense that the teachers there didn't care if Ilearned all of it or none of it. They just didn't seem to care, and I don't blame them entirely. It must be incredibly frustrating to be paid (or perceived to be valued) at a tiny fraction of people of that which other people's contributions and efforts to better humanity and society are superficial at best i.e. pop-stars, 'roiding professional athletes, and other useless icons.

If more people ARE taking these standardized tests, this would not cause the mean score to drop. It would simply cause the mean to more accurately represent the population mean. The problem in comparing scores is that there is no standardized international test. For example, Psychologists have realized that their old methods for evaluating IQ were flawed when they realized the subjectivity among perceived intelligence among different cultures.

As for the movie, Yes it is incredible that this has been allowed to happen, if it is true. And I feel that such bold claims demand verification, as nothing should be accepted at face value. But a lot of what they discuss has a certain amount of plausibility that feels to be more than mere coincidence. - Ben , posted 05/11/08

Anti-globalizaion, anti-World Government, but not negative
I had just recently got my eyes open to all this stuff, and yes it is truly astounding! I had watched the other new documentary, Alex Jones's ENDGAME. I definitely recommend that for all concerned citizens as well, especially since this film didn't offer actual investigative reporting. What I was relieved to see, however, was a movie delving into the more spiritual ideas connected to all the conspiracy investigations and still able to keep a positive outlook. It's one thing to just expose, which Endgame is great at, but we need the hope and the confirmation that we the people in fact have divine potential and can together embrace the one world without succumbing to a One-World Government. We need to start uniting on our OWN terms now, because we will no longer have a choice soon. 2012 doesn't have to be about the end of the world or society falling apart, we can act now to make sure it's about breaking the cycle and to THIS time unite face to face as true human beings, no longer grouped together against our will be an overpowering heiracrhical system. It's really more or less the same pattern throughout our known history over and over. Just because it's being done by stealth instead of force this time doesn't change it. The empires will battle it out to be the leader, then the elite of the elite will conquer them all in an effort to control what they know as the span of the entire world. It IS the same pattern now, the only question is are we going to let it repeat itself again now that we're in a position to understand that or tap into our deeper core and spread the true unity force of compassion and cooperation? - Gabe-alution , posted 12/24/07

Worth viewing, researching and seeing out answers for yourself.
Most of this information I was already familiar with and I felt it was well presented here.
Nice how the tie the different subject together in Zeitgeist.
It also appears as if the makers of the "Loose Change" Video (www.loosechange911.com/) and "The God Who Wasn't There" (www.thegodmovie.com) collaborated on this video; as I see clips from both movies in Zeitgeist. That and I believe the commentator of Zeitgeist is the same person as the Loose Change video. I have not researched this, but they do appear similar. Not that it really matters, if they wish to pull their resources I'm all for it.

To the nay sayers, fine, believe what you wish.. But I put this forward... If you're SOOOO informed that you know SOOO much more than we do then put up, or shut up. Not that I'm censoring anyone, just if you have a contrary view - back it up instead of just posting pithy one liners.... Put a link here to support YOUR ideas, YOUR facts, YOUR Proof... Most people that dis these movies tend to write two sentences of banal comments with no proof to back up THEIR beliefs... Comments like "don't allow yourselves to be brainwashed by Propaganda" prove nothing.

Well, I for one am not someone who is easily swayed by Propaganda. Hell, if I was wouldn't I be falling in line with the lies coming out of Washington and the Press? I do my my research, from a variety of sources. I don't take anything at face value and I have some very informed friends and family around me. That's not to say that I know everything. But I do trust my Spirit as a higher source of information and awareness - and its Alarm bells have been ringing in my gut for years.

From what I could research Jet fuel would burn off too quickly and the remaining fire would not burn at high enough temperatures.
Jet fuel (depending on mixture) burns on average around 1796°F... Titanium melts around 3034°F.
Um.. what do Jet engines burn people? Jet Fuel at it's highest combustible state - for extended periods.

And how about this little gem from Popular Mechanics website "debunking" 9/11 myths

Right there Popular Mechanics STATES that Jet Fuel cannot melt Steal with it's 2750°F melting temp...
So again please explain why multi-ton Jet Engines made of Titanium and Steel alloys were supposedly melted to slag when Titanium melts around 3034°F.
And there have been several statements made my industry experts stating that the engine debris photographed did not match the engines that should be on the plane.

This is great information. I don’t believe everything they say in the movie. For example, the test scores of the US, and how the ones in power try to keep us stupid. Americans have a larger number of people taking these test, therefore the mean is going to be lower. Also, here in the US, we immigrants have the opportunity for growth. Teachers here, from my experience are great and my professors at Rutgers are amazing doctors. Back to my comment about the movie, I think everyone should watch it. We have so little power though. Big companies are ruling us. Take a look at my profile; I posted a letter by Deepak Chopra. I have hope, I try to think positive. Plugging into the negativity makes us unwillingly voting for it energetically. I have hope that this trend of the rich getting richer and the middle class making a downward social mobility and the poor bearing all the burden is going to end once 2012 comes along which to me means the end of an era.
